![]() On Easter Sunday, 2007, Life.Church began broadcasting from their new campus in the online game Second Life. In April 2006, the church established its "Internet Campus" which broadcasts weekly, interactive worship services live over the internet. In February 2006, Life.Church introduced a campus in Fort Worth, Texas, its first location outside Oklahoma. Life.Church opened an additional campus in Oklahoma City, the South Oklahoma City Campus, in Spring 2005. With this merger, they changed their name, combining Life Covenant Church with MetroChurch to arrive at the name "LifeChurch".įollowing the multi-site services, the church launched campuses in Tulsa and Stillwater, Oklahoma in 2003, with these new campuses incorporating satellite video teaching into their services. In 2001, MetroChurch, a 25-year-old, nondenominational church in nearby Edmond, Oklahoma merged with Life.Church, effectively making it a multi-site church. The church membership grew rapidly, and Life.Church built its first facility (now known as the "Oklahoma City Campus") in 1999. In January 1996, Life.Church was founded as Life Covenant Church in Oklahoma City with 40 congregants meeting together in a two-car garage. Through his and Sister Pat's dedication to missions, hundreds of churches and ministries have been established around the world, reaching tens of thousands of people.States where Life.Church has active churches He and his wife, Pat, founded and established Faith Academy in 1969, and it is now one of the largest Christian Schools in Alabama with a student body of over 2000. His commitment to the Word and Voice of God has led to a dynamic church, a growing K-12 school ( Faith Academy), and a busy Child Development Center. Combined, these three ministries touch the lives of over 3000 people weekly. ![]() In addition, it has made a powerful impact on the entire Gulf Coast with its Home Mission outreaches and satellite churches. Life Church of Mobile emerged from a small beginning to become a growing church with a world vision that has placed and supported missionaries and mission works in many different countries. A former Southern Baptist, he received Baptism in the Holy Spirit in the early days of the Charismatic Movement and led his church into the mainstream of the Full Gospel Message. Our hearts are focused on: building loving relationships sharing the gospel in word and deed and inviting people into the community with us. Our Method: to focus on making disciples for Jesus. To fulfill the “Great Commission” as effectively as we can. The question, ‘Who am I?’ is answered in a community with other believers, and cannot be answered any other way. Being part of a gospel community of believers (a church) is the essence of our identity. “We Are Better Together” continues to be a reoccurring theme of their messages and ministry through small group meetings and personal fellowship times. Since becoming Senior Pastors in 2009, they have embraced the importance of seeing the people of God deepen their relationship with Him, as well as one another.
